Who’s Behind “Walking in Torah”?

Constance Smith has been the trusted voice behind Cosmopolitan Cornbread for many years, sharing from-scratch recipes, homemaking wisdom, and reflections rooted in faith, family, and tradition – both on her website and her YouTube channel. Through that work, she has encouraged countless women to slow down, nourish their households well, and rediscover the quiet beauty of intentional living.

Constance Smith, Founder

As her walk of faith has deepened, Constance felt a clear calling to speak more directly to the spiritual foundations beneath the everyday. That calling gave rise to Walking in Torah—a space devoted not primarily to recipes or lifestyle, but to teaching women how to live biblically by ordering their lives according to God’s Word and walking in obedience to His Torah with humility, reverence, and joy.

Constance believes a woman’s home is meant to be a sanctuary—a dwelling set apart for peace, discipleship, hospitality, and the presence of God. Through Walking in Torah, she seeks to equip women to cultivate homes rooted in Scripture, shaped by godly rhythms, and marked by faithfulness in both the ordinary and the set-apart. Her heart is to encourage women to return to the ancient paths, embrace their God-given roles, and walk faithfully in truth for the glory of the Father.

Likewise, tell the older women to behave the way people leading a holy life should. They shouldn’t be slanderers or slaves to excessive drinking. They should teach what is good, thus training the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to take good care of their homes and submit to their husbands. In this way, God’s message will not be brought into disgrace. – Titus 2:3-5 (CJB)
